Privacy notice

Electric Pedals Events Ltd ("ElectricPedals", "we") hires out and builds pedal-powered equipment for events. This page explains what we do with the contact details we use to email organisations about our work.

Who we are Electric Pedals Events Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 14285330. Registered office: Unit 7 Copeland Park, 133 Copeland Road, London SE15 3SN. Contact: info@electricpedals.com.

Who we email We only email organisations: event organisers, councils, universities, museums, festivals, agencies and similar. We never email private individuals or personal webmail addresses for this purpose.

Where we found your address If we emailed you without having worked together before, we found your work address on your organisation's own public website, for example on its contact, team or events page. We only use an address that is published on the organisation's own website. If you have contacted us before, we may also have your address from that earlier email.

What we keep

  • Your organisation's name and website
  • Your name and job title, if your website shows them
  • Your work email address, and the web page where we found it
  • Our emails to you and any reply you send

Why we use it To tell organisations about pedal-powered activities that may suit their events. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: contacting organisations about services relevant to their work. We send a small number of emails and never sell or share your details.

How long we keep it We keep your details while they are relevant to our work. If you don't reply, we stop emailing after a short sequence. If you ask us to stop, we keep only your address on a "do not contact" list, so that we never email you again.

Where it is kept On our own equipment in the UK, with encrypted backups. We do not use outside mailing-list companies.

Your choices

  • To stop our emails, reply "unsubscribe" to any of them, or email info@electricpedals.com. We will not email you again.
  • You can ask to see the details we hold about you, to have them corrected, or to have them deleted.
  • If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
