PRODUCTS > STEM > GIANT POV DISPLAY
A 1.2 metre diameter persistence of vision display, powered entirely by a bicycle.
Spin the wheel fast enough and images appear from nothing, large-scale moving content conjured from a single spinning LED array, driven by human effort. The faster you pedal, the clearer the image. The display communicates exactly how much power the rider is generating in real time, measured in Joules. At over 500 revolutions per minute, the Giant POV Display is one of the most visually dramatic human-powered installations we've built. It turns the physics of light, motion and energy into something spectacular — and makes the rider directly responsible for what the audience sees.
