Human Power Station scoops up BanFF Award

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C93cL_zDVIM]We've just heard that the BBC’s Bang Goes The Theory: The Human Power Station picked up a Banff World Television Award for the Best Green Program.

A Selection Committee reviewed all candidates and select a shortlist based on the originality of the subject treated, the spirit of the production, and entries' ability to persuade viewers on the importance of the subject. A shortlist was passed on to the Green Jury, which choose six nominees, one of which was named the Best Green Program .. The Human Power Station.

I'm really proud of what we achieved having stepped up to the challenge of powering a family home with 80 bicycle generators and all the amazing people that helped us achieve it. This project really helped take our knowledge of building bespoke human powered installations to the next level!
