PROJECTS > FIRST TRANSPENNINE EXPRESS
We worked with First TransPennine Express and Manc Frank to support the launch of a new fleet of electric trains operating between Manchester and Scotland. Along with Vivid Design Works created a bicycle-powered customer engagement installation that used human-generated electricity to illuminate the message “Ignite the spark that signals change”, marking the beginning of the new electric fleet. Olympic gold medallist Jason Kenny helped power the installation as it travelled from Manchester Piccadilly through Leeds, Sheffield and Liverpool.
