Large Bicycle Powered Cinema
Our large bicycle powered cinema is designed for high-capacity screenings powered entirely by people pedalling.
Using the combined effort of up to 20 adult and child cyclists, the system generates the electricity required to run projection, sound and screen for audiences of up to 500+ people. The result is a fully off-grid cinema experience where the audience becomes the power source. This format is suited to festivals, town centres, large parks and major public events where scale and visibility are essential. Participants can use our bicycles or bring their own, allowing continuous engagement throughout the screening.
All electricity is generated live by the riders. No mains power. No stored battery energy.

Practical considerations
Daytime screenings require controlled lighting conditions.
Outdoor screenings work best from approximately 30 minutes after sunset.
The system cannot operate in heavy rain or high winds.
We strongly recommend planning a simple weather contingency for outdoor events.
Grass sites are ideal for securing the screen and infrastructure
Hard standing locations can be used with ballast arranged by our team
